The Importance of Complimentation
You don't have to do these spiritual acrobats to deflect a genuine well-meaning compliment by saying, oh, I'm just a piece of dirt. So be very careful. Are you doing this genuinely from your heart? Or are you just trying to get something from that person by giving him a compliment? And it just reminds me so much in scripture. It's not always what I do, but why I do it. Which means I need Jesus because I don't even always know why I'm doing what I'm doing. Yeah.
