Knowing God and Knowing His Will in Colossians 1 9

Paul is praying for us to know God and his will in Colossians 1 9 that's not what he's praying for so the question is what's missing yeah. What's missing is precisely what Paul is praying for in X one nine namely that we would come to know God by spiritual wisdom and spiritual understanding. The Holy Spirit takes away a man's blindness to the greatness and beauty of God.
