In the early days of cloud computing, bandwidth was probably one of the biggest bottlenecks. For some applications, like data analytics or machine learning training, a little bit less in case of inference, bandwidth can become a problem. In general, when it comes to cloud applications, there's two main classes: throughput bound workloads and interactive applications.
