The Importance of Diversifying Your Investments

I would never tell people not to have any fear. There's definitely a lot of ways to lose money. I don't say don't invest in bonds just because now the yield is terrible. My feeling about bonds is if you need money for the next five years, even though the stock market or the log run is almost certainly a better investment, we can't guarantee it. We work through them over long periods of time. That's how you strike the balance to meet your short-term needs and your long-term needs.
