In heaven's gate, everybody would drop the name that they had before and pick a new name. The kitchen was called the neutra lab, and the e laundry room is caled the fibre lab. If you were in the mansion where everybody lived, that referred to as incraft but if you were out in the real secular world, that was called out of craft. And so that language was not just gobbledeguk; it was doing real religious work. It was putting members in this rhetorical head space where they could envision themselves now on thest spacecraft, heading toward the kingdom of god,. which is where they wanted to be.
