And our prairies and grasslands would have had far more biomass production on an annual basis 1,000 years ago than the fertilized crops in pasture we can grow today. Soils worldwide were created to have everything that they need. We must have the proper functioning of the microbial population and the plant population for that nutrient cycle and water cycle to work like it should.
