Is There a Politics Bubble?

Every government, every parliament operates in a political bubble. They really can't bring themselves to say it because of some deep-seated ideological view. It's almost as though you want to think about future generations, but you can't give yourself the political space. And I've certainly found in most of my career in politics as somebody who wanted to advocate for future generations in all policymaking that I'd often be told 'I haven't got time for it now'
