Pete White, the First Migrant in the Arts District
Pete white founded a grass roots organization in skid row called los angeles community action network, l a can for short. It's a coalition of unhoused residents and advocates. Pete watched all this happen from ski the first arm or the first sort of migrant population coming in - usually artists to make the community hip and cool. And they are also the very first wave of people who are going to be put out after they have settled the land.
