Is the Focus on Money Really a Signalling Tool?

The money is basically a signalling tool, and it's a very degenerated signalling tool. So were we're actually seeing that spread in a couple of weird ways. We've all seen these start ups that have a high value but they don't spend it on since you write off nonsense expenses. But more importantly for our discussion, you have seen this happen with elate institutions as well,. And i'm thinking hereabout, like, the way that foundations operate, for example. I think the middle class does think in terms of money, because they don't have usually a very, a very stable social position. They're worried about either climbing the ladder or falling back down.
