In 1641, basically, he's got a career as a polemicist for a time. It's not hard to imagine that somebody in the king's retinue was had reticomble of these pamphlets. I mean, I don't know how many people were reading anything at that time, really. But it doesn't matter. He's right at the heart of power in London.
