Is the Novel the Backbone of the Story?
I feel like every adaptation has to, has to deal with this to sort of represent certain things in the book. I always say, scene work is so crucial in screen writing. It's with an every scene, where is that turn? And every time a character makes the turn, they're changing a little bit. So naturally, organically, our characters grow. That'se, that's a beautiful way to think about it. Every choice sort of compounds foward in ways that we don't even see or realize sometimes.
