How Many Times Does Our Heart Beat a Day?
The average number of beats in a day depends on how old you are. If you're one or two years old, your heart beats about 80 to a hundred and 30 times per minute. As you get older, your heart goes a little slower - but only up to a point. Your heart pumps blood through 60 thousand miles of blood vessels in your body. So that means if you laid all your blood vessels out end to end, they could circle the earth four times. And why do our tomies rumble when we're hungry? It's also your intestines.
