The Cult of Separation

Cults like the Mormon Church literally or fundamentalist Mormons separate their children from their mom almost just a couple years after they're born. They would take them away from their parents because they don't want them to have that relationship with their mom once a long. My dad grew up in a cult called Synonon, which was this like 70s era promised socialist utopian compound and then grew conformist and violent.
