Is There a Difference Between Angels and Stars?

The constellations are a shorthand for us to remember the gods. mercury, venus, earth, mars, jupiter,. like those are all a names of gods because that's how we've viewed these celestial bodies throughout history. Is it ominous in and of themselves? Do they actually mark a turning point? Or are we making meaning from them?
