The Scape of Jesus

Golgotha was a rock formation that took shape as the result of quarrying activity. The whole point is that the gospel authors want us to see Jesus carrying a tree to the top of a man-made hill. When I look at a skull, it's like a meta moment - you're sitting in those holes looking out. It makes you think of the story that that skull represents.
