The Negative Reaction of Markets to China's Decline in Youth Unemployment
China is going to stop publishing data on youth unemployment. The National Bureau of Statistics says it's redoing the calculation because some students who are graduated from university, they're then looking for jobs are being counted as unemployed. A more cynical view would be that the unemployment rate for youth was 21% and was expected to continue rising through third quarter.
