How Do We Get to Kim Kardashian?
Theory of self made is a theological crisis, and as well as a cultural crisis. I think it's only by seeing the kind of seeing this as something integral to what we might call modernity that you can really get an insight into our contemporary artificial authentic hybrid culture. And so my joke that my shtick sometimes is taking cultural phenomena and saying, well, this is why it's really all about theology. As a theologian I want to do it, but a self made I think is my attempt at looking at Kim Kardashian thing like there's a theological combination for this.
