There was no love between Duryodhana and Arjuna. The vast majority of the warriors on the other side, the count of the warriors, were not exactly hated by Arjuna because they were all parts of the same family. And it's right in front of Bhishma and Drona that Shri Krishna placed the chariot. So this is definitely going to affect Arjuna emotionally.
