Sin is always a distortion of the good Uh, it is a perversion of the good as i custom would say and so uh The good is religion the good is god and the good is institutions and institutional leaders. When sin distorts that imaging process It's like a magnification. It it taps into the power Intended by god for the good but it channels it into the bad. So it grossly it has outsized Spiritual impact precisely because it is being done by a spiritual institution and institutional leaders Versus if somebody else without any spiritual cloaking Practice that's form of coercion and control.

We examine the phenomena of spiritual abuse with the help of Dan Koch, researcher, therapist, and host of the podcast, You Have Permission. Both Curtis and Dan share how their own lives have been affected by spiritual abuse, and then together address questions such as, “Why can it be difficult to spot? What kind of impact does it leave?
