The Difference Between Findings and Insights

A lot of the stuff that I'm calling insights are just findings. Something with a short shelf life is her point. Insights tend to have an impact over a few months or even years and they can influence the future product strategy. But if you have something information about something you want to solve today, that's just a finding and you fix that. That's not an insight. It's just something you realize that it's almost like a bug.
