D and D has become so much more multi-class than they used to be. They, they, the boundaries between classes are really porous now. And it's really more like a resource thing. You end up knowing which spells you kind of want to use over and over again or what situations to use certain spells in. But especially early game, spells lots are scarce for the one level one spells,. Like obviously you have can't trips but those tend to be a lot less useful.
