Is the Design by Committee Process the Best Way to Do a Game?

Dirk: In my heart of hearts, I want to not have it be sort of the design by committee process that performs best on the market. But they're not the best fit for me personally, although I do abide by them. David: It all comes back to like what is the main thing that we wanted this game to do and can it do it reliably? And if not, too often we go back and then continue baking even when it isn't commercially in our best interest to do so. Dirk: Do you ever see people feel like that they are done before a deadline and actually release something or because of the deadlines, you're always just building up to.
