Audrey Hepburn has Holly Goleitley in Blake Edwards' film Breakfast at Tiffany's, explaining her state of mind to George Papard. When we do these programmes about film stars, we've sometimes begun by deconstructing their image. Can we disarticulate Hepburn in the same way? What are her constituent elements? Oh, I think it's essential to do this with Hepburn. She arguably more than anyone else except maybe Monro, her image can be captured by a few strokes of the paintbrush.
