The Ghost of a Flea
William Blake was basically a visionary and mystic, and he quite often just see like angels appearing. He did this painting called the Ghost of a Flea, which is where it was, it came out of an experience that he'd had at a friend's house. The being has green skin and muscles, and this kind of slightly monstrous look about it. It's not paying any attention to the person who's painting it, I'm not sure if that's a mirror that it's holding, but it's kind of, it seems quite kind of self-absorbed.
