Casey: My background is in mental health, it's a mental license professional. Most of my clinical stuff now comes from owning a group practice where have anywhere between 50 to 75 therapists or clinical providers at all times. I started writing books back in 2019, published the first one, which was Fix the Stacks for Healthcare providers,. working on my second one, which gets turned into the editor in December.

Welcome back to Therapy Chat! This week host Laura Reagan, LCSW-C interviews Kasey Compton, LMFT, author of the recent book, "Fix This Next for Healthcare Providers: Your Business Is Like A Patient, You Just Have to Treat It That Way," psychotherapist, group practice owner, consultant, coach, mother, and human.
Laura and Kasey had a deep conversation about the surprising mindset shifts that can make all the difference for entrepreneurs. It's not what you think! Kasey shared about her journey from successful entrepreneur to happy, healthy and balanced human (who is still a successful entrepreneur). We all know that there's no end to the journey of healing - life is filled with experiences that help us grow. Kasey shares a message that there is no shame in embracing all of who you are. This conversation is filled with many meaningful nuggets you won't want to miss. She shared some of her story and Laura met her in that place to share her from her own experiences.
More about Kasey: Kasey Compton is on a mission to help business owners find their entrepreneurial confidence. She went from bankrupt to Boss Babe when she took her first company from zero to three million in less than three years without ditching her life to do it. She owns three other businesses that have accumulated assets of over two million and are growing by the day.
