How to Prescribe Power for Running Races

Running up and downhill is a skill. In the downhills, it's not as drastic as cycling power where your power is going to drop just because you're kind of spinning out downhill. Running you still have the prettiest power to go downhill, right? So you're leaning into the hill. You're trying to keep up your cadence. And so that's just one instance of uphill versus downhill in the course of a race. On the super elite side, if you're, you know, training for maybe a 5k on the road, it's more racing the competition. There's a whole another dynamic to it where you have a lot more lateral movements. Andy Dubois
