The Dangers and Operations of the Ghost Army

This chapter discusses the risks and operations conducted by a deception unit called the 23rd headquarters special troops during World War II. The unit, made up of painters, artists, and sound designers, carried out 22 different deception missions on the battlefields of Europe. Despite the dangers, they acknowledged their luck in avoiding total annihilation.
