We Know How to Run Fibre
There is political will to do something about telecoms monopolies. The pandamic combined with the surging anti monopoly movement, has turned universal fibre into a politically attainable goal. Fibre systems have at least a ten thousand, yes, ten thousandfold advantage over cable systems in terms of raw bandwidth. To hear telco apologists and elon musk fan boys tell it, running fibre to rural homes is impossible. So using some vanished art lost to the mists of history, bushet, we know how to run fibre.
