A recent study found that most transgender children did not exhibit signs of feeling like they were the opposite gender from a young age. It was indeed something that came on suddenly as they entered adolescence, says Northwestern psychology professor Michael Bailey who led the research team for this study. He says the findings concur with Littman's hypothesis that in most of these cases, the children didn't exhibit signs of Feeling Like They Were The Opposite Gender From A Young Age.
