Introduction

This month I'm joined by Lisa Ramage, who joined us previously to discuss a paper and it's great to have her back. And we are going to look at a paper that was in January's EMJ called Thromboprophylaxis in Ambulatory Immensity Department Patients. The risk of VTE for these patients is real but the authors rightly state that this is around the region of 1% to 2%.
