Money is the commonly used medium of exchange, right? Is that one good that everybody values not for being the good itself, but because you can use it for its purchasing power. As long as we use dollars, the dollar will be a money, but when people sort of collectively all of the country or at least a big chunk of it will stop using dollars, then the dollars will be completely worthless. They don't function as money anymore. And then we will use something else.
