A former chief administration officer stole more than half a million dollars from a Western Manitoba municipal bank and then tried to cover it up. The lawsuit accuses the CAO, Amber Fisher, of breaching her contract through criminal fraudulent and unlawful conduct. It alleges that between September 2020 and July 2021, she made 33 transfers, all totaling about $15,000 from the municipality's bank account to her own.
