"I don't know how it's going to change. It isn't going to change just by accident, by default, by passivity and I don't see anything happening at the moment in the medical landscape that's going to fix it," he said. " AI could be a rescue path, but it also could make things worse ironically." He added: "By the way, I'm actually a very optimistic person. So I still am hoping that there will be a light ... I just don't see it yet".
