The Global Warming Spike

Global temperatures, on average now, are between about 15 and 16 degrees for the actual whole planet. You are looking at the paleo scene probably being somewhere more like 17, 18 degrees. On top of that, we're adding another five degrees on ocean temperatures and global temperatures. So you're looking at an average temperature for the planet of about 22 degrees,. which is seven degrees warmer than the average today. It doesn't seem massive. It's more like a football score than a rugby score.
