i was reading paul gilbert's book, cause he's coming on the show in a couple of weeks. He wrote about how the root of perfectionism is actually shame. There's this underlying shame that then the peret onist does all this work to try and make it other people not see it. And i think that is sometimes a metaphor for my life. So well, i will definitely keep that in next time i'm like, oh no, i have to meet diana's arbitrary deadline. A kep il compassionately remind myself about that, diana bet.
