The Second Neutron Star Neutron Merger

The second neutron star neutron star merger that was seen in gravitational waves happened one or two years later. Some people argued oh well that's because it was further away and you know even if it made one we wouldn't have been sensitive to it but i've also heard other people argueoh well looking at the frequency and distance to these gravitational waves as there's a little bit of a degeneracy. see that's really interesting so it's quite i i believe that it's correct that if you don't have the hypermassive neutron star phase you are going to have a fainter kilo nova which is going to be harder to detect than what we saw with 2017 event.
