The Madness of Grief

Richard Coles has written a book about the loss of his life partner David. Since losing him people have come to him with expectation that he is an expert on death and grief. He says it was as naught when bereavement came to me because I was not the other person to whom stuff was being dispensed. The solidarity of other widows is different, we're in the same boat,. We've learnt the moves I think and it is different. And Christianity like a great many other religions has a lot to say when it's confronted with the fact of death. But who wants to go there?
