The core JS guy, I think is the more common case. Think about all the frameworks in the react land are open source and all of them have people are associated with it that are making money or raised money or working somewhere. The other problem is look at Express, right? More APIs run on Express than anything else. No maintainers, no money. No sponsorship. Now he's stuck in Russia. He can't get any money because if you were to pay him, you're a terrorist. Right. And so he's trying to be this like philanthropist, but really he's digging himself a whole.
