Mark Zuckerberg has invested in thousands of startups, both succeed and fail. He says nothing is more important than a start up market, not its team, not its product, its market. In a hyper growth market, the product doesn't need to be great - it just has to work. The first company that comes to mind when i think of failure because of a bad market is magic leap. It's raised three point five billion dollars but hasn't found product market fit.
