Is Lacan Still Relevant Today?
I was unhappy with what I was being taught even though very creatively in terms of the progressive poststructuralist, if not postmodernist, modernist Doxa. That's actually fascinating. And you know, my introduction to Lacan was much less interesting, but it was equally intriguing because I have a background in English literature and philosophy. It was learning Lacan to read literature in a more creative way. He is among just his, there's just something that I'm drawn to and I just admire about him and his capacity for creativity and thought.
