I Used Tea Time Discipleship With My Teens

When one of my sons was a teen and particularly fraught with hormones, I would take him out for coffee and breakfast. That was his version of tea time. He would drive the car because you know when a teen gets their driver's license, they want to drive. And he would get up to the speed limit on our freeway as quickly as humanly possible. So that's when I learned, actually, when my children were teenagers, to listen to the songs they were listening to and to engage in them.
