i find it particularly hilarious when people are like, true crime is having a moment. Or like, moments can be hundreds of years long. Part of me feels like the reason we haven't had very many attempts at journalistic procedures is because most of the stories would be about accountability for people in power. All these true crime procedures tell a story that is extremely easy to digest - there's bad people out there. They're ommitting crime against innocence, and like, those people go to jail,.
