Sleep Hygiene Tips - Getting High Quality Sleep

The best case scenario to minimize the impact of poor sleep is to actually fix the problem. The Norwegian Competence Center for Sleep Disorders has a list of tips on how to get good sleep. Keep it dark, quiet and cool in the room where you sleep; go to bed and wake up at the same time every week. No food, coffee or black tea or caffeinated drinks before going to bed but last cup of coffee should be six hours before bedtime. Get so much sleep that you don't need an alarm clock to wake up each morning.
