The Self Concept Is the Learning of the World
Jesus says that the ego paints the self concept with the brushes of the world. And he says, these are idols. All all images of the world are idols made to take the place of god's love. This is a dream of separation. This is like hypnotism. This is fantasy. And this is the self concept. But jesus always tells us we're only to serve one purpose, and that's forgiveness. On the surface of consciousness is your personality self. He's got some very interesting things to say about this face of innocence.
