Joseph: There is a healthy, there's a kernel there of reaching towards something. And if we think about it, and this is actually a great suffering for transgender individuals, that let's say a young girl does have the breasts removed and goes through a fallow pasty or has genital reassignment surgery. She is an amalgam, she is always genetically a woman, but has this other amalgam happening in her body despite the fantasy that there would be an absolute transformation into its opposite.
