This chapter discusses the importance of taking a broader approach to suicide prevention by addressing it as a mental health issue. It explores strategies such as educating children on finding meaning in life and altering cultural perceptions of death, as well as changing the public narrative around suicide to reduce shame and encourage healthy conversations.
