The Women's Movement, You Know, Is Not a Coincidence

Working class women have a different set of relationships to what family means and what work means. There's always been higher rates of workforce participation form formal workforce participation in the black working class. But there is a real phenomenon of black women demanding politically, you know, developing a feminist kind of critique of the welfare state and of capitalism.
