The Cat and the Rabbit

Mary saw a bright yellow slug like creature with a smiling face that rocked side to side from the east coast of massachusetts suburbs. It's been about over 20 years, and i am still fascinated by it, and i cannot figure out what it was. If anyone has seen anything like this, please let me know,. And it just might have. The eastern spade foot is essentially a smilig face with legs; although threatened, it does live throughout Massachusetts. Its eyes are catlike, with vertical pupils, huge and forward facing, giving it an oddly friendly face.
