What Is the Big Deal About Culture and Economy?
i had a similar question about stuart hall as i did about alticer or no. My reaction was like this seems like a problem of like, 50 years ago. It's like culture becomes the thing that holds the social structure together because we can't possibly explain it the economy. So instead of interrogating what was wrong with one's understanding with the economy and like adding texture, normatively and indeed, culturally, it becomes like, like, i never feel quite satisfied with either of these accounts. I us o doyo, but it does create that opening.
