The Importance of Silence in Space
Sound is vibration and you will get it wherever there is a medium of matter to travel through, so anything hitting or landing on your ship still causes bangs and clunks. You don't really fall into black holes any more than you do stars or planets, and indeed less so since only the most highly elliptical orbits would crash into a black hole event horizon. The idea that a black hole is going to sneak up on your ship as it travels, even for some reason you had no map to warn you, is just wrong.
